I am librarian and archivist with over a decade of experience designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure and workflows for high‑impact collections and repositories. My expertise includes public-sector digital strategy, born‑digital preservation, repository design and migration management, archival digitization, metadata cataloging & information organization, library automation, and digital scholarship support.

My work is guided by commitments to:

• Promoting universal access to cultural heritage in academic and state libraries

• Leading trans‑ and multi‑institutional collaborations for archival research and development

• Democratizing information systems and defending communities against data colonialism, disinformation, and censorship

• Designing strategies to incorporate AI / machine-learning tools / computational methods into archival workflows alongside and as a compliment to human labor and expertise

• Empowering non‑specialists and supporting activist and community‑led archival practice

• Developing low‑cost, low‑barrier workflows and toolchains for digital preservation

• Producing honest, broadly representative historical records

• Mentoring peers at resource‑constrained organizations on digital access, preservation, and related archival projects

Outside work, I dedicate myself to film photography, make electronic music and analog video art, repair bicycles and teach young mechanics at a community shop, and spend time with a matching brace of black cats.
